<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the installation space of a steering device, by a method wherein a pitman arm on the front wheel side is gear-coupled to a pitman arm on the rear wheel side, and front wheels and rear wheels are run in a reverse direction to each other through control of a handle. CONSTITUTION:A knuckle arm 16 situated to the one of right and left front wheels 12 is coupled in an interlocking manner to a steering handle through a drug link 17 and a gear box 9. A knuckle arm 21 situated to the one of right and left rear wheels 13 is coupled to a gear box 9 through a drug link 22. In the gear box 9, a pinion gear 3 secured to the lower end of the rotary shaft of a handle, and a sect gear 10 engaged with a gear 3 are disposed, and a control shaft 11 of a pitman arm 14 on the front wheel side is situated concentrically with the axis of the rotary shaft of the sect gear 10. A drive gear 19 is mounted on the control shaft 11, and a driven gear 18 on control shaft 23 secured on a pitman arm 24 on the rear wheel side is engaged with the gear 19.</p> |
