PURPOSE: To improve a positioning means for a moving transparent image receiving sheet at the time of forming an image on the image receiving sheet. CONSTITUTION: An image forming device which includes a passage for moving the image receiver sheet 15 and on which IR sensors are arranged along this passage, is disposed. The substantially transparent image receiving sheet which is deposited with the IR absorptive material incorporated into a polymer binder in at least a part thereof is built into this image forming device. The substantially transparent image receiving sheet 15 is passed along the passage. At this time, the IR absorption sensors 18a, 18b, 18c detect the presence of the IR absorption materials on the substantially transparent image receiving sheet 15 and form the image on the substantially transparent image receiving sheet. The use of the substantially transparent image receiving sheet in the image forming device adopting the optical sensors or detectors in order to position the image receiving sheet within the image forming device is made possible. There is no need for depositing an opaque strip on a transparent picture nor the need for depositing separate opaque sheets on the transparent picture. |
