PURPOSE:To reproduce a minute signal on an optical disk impossible to detect by a usual optical disk system. CONSTITUTION:When the optical disk having a signal surface formed by phosphor is reproduced, the laser beam of a semiconductor laser LD converged by an objective lens OL irradiates the signal surface of the optical disk DK. Then fluorescence induced from the signal surface of the optical disk DK by the laser beam is detected by a photodetector PD provided on confocal surface to the signal surface of the optical disk DK and the signal on the optical disk DK is reproduced. |
