CONSTITUTION:Sensors for detecting the carrying state of the electrophotographic photosensitive material are arranged along the carrying path of the electrophotographic photosensitive material, that means, the various kinds of sensors such as a proximity sensor 6 are arranged in a processing unit 1. Then, alarm processing is executed by processing signals outputted by the respective sensors and ranking them. That means, when the electrophotographic photosensitive material is defectively carried or a danger is present on the operator, it is judged to be A rank and the device is immediately stopped. When the electrophotographic photosensitive material is normally carried, it is judged to be B rank and the device is stopped after the electrophotographic photosensitive material is ejected. Besides, when the processing can be easily executed without stopping the device, it is judged to be C rank and only alarm display is executed. |
