PURPOSE:To obtain a word processor which can easily position longitudinally written characters at the center. CONSTITUTION:This central arranging system for word processor is provided with an upward retrieving means 110 to retrieve ruled line characters upward from the position of a cursor on the correcting picture of the word processor, downward retrieving means 120 to retrieve ruled line characters downward from the position of the cursor, character string length setting means 130 to calculate the length of a character string existent between the upper and lower ruled line characters, moving position calculating means 140 to calculate a moving direction and a moving distance so that the character string can come to the center between the upper and lower ruled line characters, and character string moving means 150 to longitudinally move the character string corresponding to the moving direction and the moving distance. |
