摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the controllability of a synchronous phase modifier and to improve the reliability of a power system by correcting the arithmetic of the controller concerning voltage/reactive power when the synchronous phase modifier does not generate any reactive power component desired as the power system. CONSTITUTION:A controller 5 inputs a terminal voltage VR of a synchronous phase modifier 1 through a transducer 3 and inputs the terminal voltage VR and a current through an reactive power transducer 2. This terminal voltage VR from the synchronous phase modifier 1 is changed with the increase/decrease of a bus voltage VR on the first-order side of a main transformer. Then, the controller 5 controls the value of the VR corresponding to the advance/delay of reactive power generated from the phase modifying facility to the system. However, the value can not be controlled when any deviation smaller than a dead zone area is generated between a set reactive power value Qs and a real reactive power component Q of the synchronous phase modifier. Therefore, a correcting value in proportion to this deviation value is added to the terminal voltage VR. As the result, the reactive component of the synchronous phase modifier can move, can enter the controlled area and can be approximated to the set value Qs.
