<p>PURPOSE: To enable audio editing by additionally providing with two fixed heads in an unused sub-recording area horizontally in 8mm-VCR without a PCM function. CONSTITUTION: As the fixed head, the two channels of the sub-recording area is provided with heads 201 and 202 for recording and reproducing an audio signal or the audio signal and caption data and a control head 203 for recording and reproducing a control signal in a fixed head track. In the meantime, a video signal, an FM audio signal and a tracking pilot are recorded in a main recording area. The signal from the fixed head 200 is processed in an audio signal processing means 220, and the FM signal of the main recording area is in an FM audio amplifier 241. A microprocessor 250 controls a selecting means 230 and a switching means 240 by the control signals S1-S3 and changes- over the outputs of a signal processing means 220 and an FM amplifier 241. Thus, an audio editing function and a caption function are made possible.</p> |
