<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to confine the effective power of power station within a prescribed level even upon variation of the head. CONSTITUTION:The effective power limiter comprises a speed regulator for controlling the difference between a speed set value and an actual value and the difference between a load(servo opening) set value and an actual value, respectively, to zero, a low value output unit for selecting lower one of the output from the speed regulator or a load limit set value, and operating units 4, 5 for operating the difference between an effective power limit value and an actual power through proportional integration with respect to a governor for controlling the servo opening through an opening regulator and an actuator with the output from the low value unit as a servo opening command value thus determining a servo opening corrected value at current head. Thus determined servo opening corrected value is then added to a reference limit value of servo opening, determined through a converter 2 based on an effective power limit value at reference head being set in a setter 1, thus producing a load limit set value being employed in the control.</p> |
