PURPOSE: To obtain an immunological determination method wherein a test result is not affected by 'exudation effect'. CONSTITUTION: In a non-uniform immunological test using the first bonding partner of the bonding pair fixed on a solid phase, a sample soln. containing an analyte is incubated along with a first complex consisting of the second bonding partner (a) of the bonding pair and a first substance (b) capable of being specifically and immunologically bonded to the analyte in the presence of the solid phase and, thereafter, phase separation is performed to substitute a liquid phase with a separate soln. containing a second label substance. Incubation is again performed and phase separation is performed and a finally separated label is measured as the index of the amt. of the analyte and, before incubation, a second complex consisting of the macromolecule (a) incapable of being bonded to the analyte and the second bonding partner (b) of the bonding pair is further added to a liquid phase in an amt. excessive to the first complex.
