PURPOSE:To improve productivity by making a novel position be recognized easily and preventing the same position from being repeated in an electronic parts mounting data preparation method making already prepared data be recognized. CONSTITUTION:The electronic parts mounting data preparation method is composed of an allowable value storage process 5 storing the allowable value, a comparison process 6 comparing an already prepared position and a novel position, a processing process 7 performing a prescribed processing from the comparison result and a position storage process 8 for storing the determined position. The determined data preparation position is compared with the data preparation prohibition area in an already registered data preparation position. By performing a prescribed processing when the position is within the prohibition area position and registering the position as a novel data preparation position when the position is outside the prohibition area position, the data of the same position is prevented from being repeatingly prepared.
