OPTICAL PULL-DOWN CABLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To facilitate an operation for connecting both end parts of the optical pull-down cable to a connection box and an optical interior equipment by a connector system without decreasing the tensile strength of the optical pull-down cable. CONSTITUTION:Connectors 12 provided on both end parts of the optical pull- down cable 7 are connected by a coated optical fiber. The coated optical fiber in the vicinity of the connectors 12 is put in stainless flexible tubes which has superior flexibility over a specific length. The coated optical fiber of the intermediate part 8 except the vicinity parts is housed in a stainless tube superior in tensile strength. An anchor 11 capable of clamping the joint part between the stainless flexible tube and stainless tube from the outer periphery is provided on the joint part.
