PURPOSE:To manufacture of an LED lead frame, which has a large-sized cup high in quality and accuracy and excellent in yield rate, by making the cup part elliptic and putting the longitudinal axis of the ellipse at a dimension a specified number of times the thickness of a lead or more. CONSTITUTION:The cup part 1 of an LED lead frame, wherein a lead having a cup part 1 at one end and a lead one end of which is the second holder 3 are juxtaposed, is made elliptic, and the longitudinal axis of an elliptic is put at a dimension three and a half or more times the thickness of a lead. Hereby, though it is a large-sized cup part, the thickness of a scrap, which occurs when die-cutting the shape of a lead, is thin, and the yield rate of the material does not deteriorate, and without breakdown or damage of dieing mold, and besides without adding die-cutting load more than necessary, the die-cutting for a thin line can be performed. |
