PURPOSE:To surely suction a chip part mounted on a carrier tape to an suction head. CONSTITUTION:Cut-out portions 9, 9' and 10, 10' whereto end parts of positioning arms 11, 11' and 12, 12' which are formed in opposition are inserted are formed in a recessed part 8 on a carrier tape 1 whereon a chip part 3 is mounted. The positioning arms 11, 11', 12, 12' correct a position of a chip part 3 by holding it between from right and left, and up and down to a central direction of the recessed part of the chip part 3. Thereafter, the suction head 4 descends inside the recessed part 8 and pulls up the chip part 3 by suction. Since position correction is performed for the chip part 3 inside the recessed part in advance, the suction head 4 does not fail to attract the chip part even if a compact chip part is mounted deviatingly inside the recessed part 8. |
