<p>PURPOSE:To provide the position indication device with good operability by moving an operator's hand in the same direction as the motion of a pointer on a display screen as to a position indication device which displays the painter at a position that the operator specifies on the display screen of a computer or word processor. CONSTITUTION:When a position information input means 1 is moved up and down and right and left in the air to input the quantity and direction of the movement of the painter on the display screen to a desired indication object, a position information detecting means 2 detects the position of the position information input means 1 and calculates the position of the painter on the display screen. The coordinate values of the calculated painter are stored in a painter coordinate storage means 3. A pointer image generating means 4 generates an image of the painter at the position indicated on the display screen with the coordinate values of the painter stored in the painter coordinate storage means 3.</p> |
