PURPOSE: To adjust the focus of an image in a video detector regardless of a focusing operation for an objective lens device, as for a camera apparatus for an electronic movie. CONSTITUTION: The camera apparatus is provided with a housing 11, an objective lens device 12 which is detachably attached to the housing 11, a video detector 70 installed in the housing 11, optical relay devices 40, 49 and 50 for providing an optical path 15 from the objective lens device 12 to the video detector 70, and the optical relay device is provided with plural optical elements, and the optical element 58 positioned nearest to the video detector 70 among the optical elements is provided with a position adjusting mechanism 60 for adjusting the position of the optical element 58 in the axial direction along the optical axis and adjusting the focus of the image in the video detector 70 with no relation to the focus of the objective lens 12. |
