PURPOSE:To prevent a current from being leaked from a drum heater and to precisely execute the adjustment' (process control) of a parameter related to the formation of an image in an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of the drum heater 21 are connected to an AC power source 31 through relay contacts 41a and 41a. When the temperature of a drum 1 arrives at prescribed temperature after power is supplied to the heater 21 and a thermostat 25 is cut off, it is detected by a current detection circuit 44. By a processing arithmetic part 14, a driving circuit 42 is controlled and the contacts 41a and 41a are opened. Then, the process control is started. While the process control is executed, the contacts 41a and 41a are left to be opened. |
