PURPOSE:To refer to the schedule of the other LAN by means of the work station with the other LAN connected by coupling the schedule management system on the LAN and an electronic mail system. CONSTITUTION:A mail address analysis means 1, mail sentence analysis means 2, and mail edition means 3 among the conventional schedule management and electronic mail are newly added to the electronic name system. A schedule information retrieval means 14 of the schedule management system makes a component of the electronic mail system. The schedule information on the external storage prepared by the schedule management system is taken out by the schedule information retrieval means 14. The fetched schedule information is edited by a mail edition means 3 in the mail sentence, then a mail sending means 2 sends a mail.
