SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSPECTION

PURPOSE:To provide the system and method for inspection which has sufficient correspondence to the actual operation of an image processor and can inspect the image processor in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A work station(WS) 1 sends part of a control program, stored on a hard disk(HD) 4, to an I/F part 2. The I/F part 2 sets the operation mode and inspection image processing area of the body 3 to be inspected according to the control program and sends a request for image data to be applied to the body 3 to be inspected to the WS 1. The WS1 loads image data that the I/F part 2 requires among plural image data stored on the HD 4 and reference data corresponding to the image data to the I/F part 2 and a reference data memory 16. The I/F part 2 applies the image data to the body 3 to be inspected and sends image data outputted by the body 3 to be inspected to the WS1. The WS1 compares the image data outputted by the body 3 to be inspected with the reference data stored in the reference data memory 16 to decide whether or not the object body 3 is normal.
