PURPOSE:To prevent the hardware fault at each base by collecting periodically the life time information on each component hardware of a decentralized com puter. CONSTITUTION:A decentralized computer 1 produces periodically the life time information files 5-1 based on the life time information that is occasionally counted in a CMOS 4. These files 5-1 are collected by a computer 3 contained in a maintenance center through a host computer 2. Thus, the hardware state of the computer 1 is grasped, and the hardware having its passed life time is replaced with other new one, so that the hardware fault can be prevented. When the replacement of hardware is over, the corresponding life time information is initialized in the CMOS 4. Then, the information on the replacement of hardware are collected and controlled by the computer 3 through the computer 2. |
