PURPOSE:To extend the reception time and talking time by interrupting a power supply for a display section so as to limit the display time when a prescribed time comes. CONSTITUTION:The cordless telephone set 100 consists of a display section 10, a speech section 20, a microcomputer 30, a key switch 40 and a power supply section 50. The display section 10 displays various information and the speech section 20 is used for talking with other telephone set. Then the microcomputer 30 implements connection/speech control and a witch 40 is a path for dial signal transmission. A timer means 70 controls an interrupt means 60 to interrupt a power supply for the display section 10. When the transmission of a dial signal is started at the time of dialing, a dial number is displayed on an LCD11 of the display section 10. Then the timer means 70 counts an elapsed time and when a prescribed elapsed time is reached, the interrupt means 60 interrupts a power supply for the display section 10 displaying the dial number and a talking charge. Then since the display of the display section 10 is implemented for a prescribed time only and the display time is limited, the reception time and the speech time are extended. |
