<p>1301768 Masks SOC ANON POUR L'EQUIPEMENT ELECTRIQUE DES VEHICULES SEV MARCHAL 6 July 1971 [23 July 1970] 31608/71 Heading F4R In a vehicle foglamp or headlamp the mask blocking the light beams emitted by the light source 5 in a forward direction is formed as a compound mask of two parts, the first part 8 masking the bulb and the second part 9 acting as a heat shield to prevent damage to the glazing 7 of the lamp by the heat from the first part 8, the two parts being separated by air or other thermal insulating material. The inner surface of the inner part and the outer surface of the outer part are reflective, and the surfaces of the parts which face one another are black and matt. The outer part has legs which mount it on the lamp body and the inner element has legs connecting it to the legs of the outer element, Fig. 2 (not shown), the point of connection being distant from the zone of maximum heating of the mask.</p> |
