PURPOSE:To provide the sorting device which enables a high-speed sort processing without using any working memory. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a storing means 21 to store a certain number of processing sort data and to simultaneously and parallelly output those data, a comparing means 23 equipped with a certain number of comparators for comparing these outputted data with prescribed data as many as the number of data to be processed, a selecting means 22 to select one of prescribed data to be compared out of a certain number of sort data to be processed, an adding means 24 to respectively count the compared results of the respective comparators in the comparing means 23, and a processor 26 for order count to calculate the order of data to be compared based on data from the adding means 24, and the order of data is successively calculated by selecting data to be successively compared out of plural data and parallelly comparing those data with the other data. |
