Blank for package, a tray in particular, previously cut out comprising folding lines, consisting in a central panel and two first opposite flaps and two second opposite flaps adjoining the four sides of the central panel, in which the first two opposite flaps (3, 3a) each comprise a longitudinal central folding line (7, 7a), two folding lines (9) corresponding to the bisectrice of the right angles adjacent to the central panel (2) and the lower part of the flaps (3, 3a) is extended longitudinally beyond the folding lines (8a) by two tongues (8). Such a blank allows the production of a pre-assembled tray which is delivered flat by fixing the tongues (8) on the second flaps (4, 4a) and folding the said second flaps (4, 4a) towards each other with a folding of the first flaps (3, 3a) along the oblique folding lines (9). <IMAGE>
