<p>The present invention relates to a fitting for pipes, particularly flexible pipes, which is comprised of two similar semi-fittings (1, 2) comprising each a coupling sleeve (11, 21) and a clamping ring (13, 23) which has clamping means, the clamping ring being independent from the coupling sleeve (11, 21), each semi-fitting (1, 2) further having sealing means (4) inserted between said sleeve and said ring, the sealing means having locking means at two positions in order to provide for the assembly of the two semi-fittings (1, 2) and the joining of the two coupling sleeves (11, 21) indifferently inside one or the other of the two semi-fittings. The invention applies to the coupling of flexible pipings in particular.</p> |
