The formwork frame (2) has a series of pipes (1) running through it. The pipes are connected to a manifold (3) at the head of the cone. When the soil has been hardened, it can be excavated. Ground water level (7) can be kept lowered by the introduction of compressed air into the excavation. Entry to the work site being through a special chamber (4). USE/ADVANTAGE - For repair work on cables, pipes etc. Permits work without use of shuttering and does not leave foreign materials in the ground.
