The pressure limiting valve enables fluid flow from a duct (11) in the valve body, to an outlet (13). The duct communicates with an annular chamber (10), which is normally sealed by a flexible diaphragm (2) which is pressed against the valve seat (9) by a spring (4). The flexible diaphragm is supported around its outer edge by a ring (1). The pressure, at which the valve opens, depends upon the effective area of the flexible diaphragm. The effective area can be changed, in order to change the valve opening pressure, by fitting a different ring with a different inside dia.
