The present invention relates to a device for automatically filling containers such as, for example, bottles. This device essentially comprises a frame (1) on which is mounted, with overhang, a movable chassis (2) carrying liquid-supply booms (ramps) (3) and which can be actuated by means of a mechanical system carried by the frame (1) in two orthogonal directions in order to permit respectively a vertical and horizontal translation of the chassis (2) with respect to the frame (1), so as to permit automatic filling of the bottles (B) conveyed in lines under the chassis (2). This device makes it possible, in particular, to automatically fill champagne bottles having different heights and diameters. <IMAGE>
