In a voltage regulation arrangement for parallel transformer operation, each transformer (1, 2, 3, 4) has a step switch which is connected to a microprocessor-controlled digital regulator (11, 12, 13, 14) which regulates the stage voltage. In addition, each digital regulator (11, 12, 13, 14) has an interface via which the digital regulators (11, 12, 13, 14) are connected to form a ring via which they interchange the measurements and regulating values. By means of these values they regulate the compensating current flowing between the transformers (1, 2, 3, 4) at a minimum. This arrangement requires no additional current or voltage converters and is therefore extremely economical. In addition, the step switches of the individual transformers are automatically taken into an operating position in which the reactive current between the transformers is reduced to a minimum. |
