When the product has located on the movable welding unit a start signal is given to a drive unit (D) for the movable welding unit which then moves from the fixed welding unit (2) so that a gap is formed. The product drops with the gap opening down into a foil cradle which is extended downwards through the foil forward feed (F) until a product monitor has indicated that the packaging around the product is sufficient so that the equipment can weld and separate the packaging with the product inside it. |
