The outlet (1) is box-shaped and divided into two halves by a transverse strap (5). It is covered on its underside by a sieve (4). It contains baffles (6),which are located near each end of the strap, at right angles to it and projecting below it. The baffles prevent a cross flow of air, and allow part of the laminar air flow to pass along the outer edge of the outlet. The length of the baffle is three to five times the thickness of the strap, and their depth (h) is up to twice the thickness. USE/ADVANTAGE - For air conditioning system,with simple,compact design preventing cross-flow under the outlet.
