A disabling device comprises a pin (4), a boss (2) fixed to one end of the pin, a second boss (3) removably fitted to the other end of pin, and a lock (10) for locking the removable boss to the pin. A trailer may be disabled by fitting the device in its towing eye. A vehicle may be disabled by fitting the device in aligned apertures in its drive train or its steering gear, thereby disabling the drive train or steering gear. |
