Container/lid assembly, in which the outer wall of the lid and the inner wall of the container are of cylindrical design, and the outer diameter of the lid is smaller than the inner diameter of the vessel. In order to provide engagement between container and lid, there are retention means which engage with one another. In the lid, these retention means comprise projections which face outwards and are arranged along the circumference. In the container, these retention means comprise an angular passage which extends along the circumference and is directed outwards, which passage is adjoined by an inwardly directed projection in the direction of the edge.
