Air intake device for heating and ventilation with recycling of the air of the passenger compartment of a vehicle, of the type including an air mixer housing (20) in which is arranged a fan (28) outputting of flow of air into a duct (13) for supplying an air distributor (12), an intake flap (31) for external air and a recycling flap (33) for the air of the passenger compartment and in which the said flaps (31, 33) are respectively controlled remotely by a control arranged in the passenger compartment, characterised by the fact that the intake and recycling flaps (31, 33) are respectively located in chambers (34, 35) communicating with a shell (29) of the fan (28) into which emerges the supply duct (13) from a housing (41) of the air distributor (12) for heating and ventilation and in that the control for opening the said recycling flap (33) actuates the fan (28). <IMAGE>
