<p>The invention relates to a method of manufacturing foil capacitors made by stacking metallised plastic films. According to the invention, the method of manufacture includes a step for winding at least one pair of metallised plastic films, the said step being divided into three phases, a first phase intended for carrying out finishing revolutions and during which the films are demetallised so that their superposition induces no additional capacitance at final component level, a second phase intended for superposing the films so that they contribute to the capacitance of the final component and during which the films are demetallised in the form of margins, and a third phase intended for carrying out finishing revolutions under the same conditions as the first phase, characterised in that the demetallisations of the films involved in the successive phases are carried out by etching. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing foil capacitors including at least one step for demetallising metallised plastic films taking the form of very wide expanses intended to be cut up into elementary strips, characterised in that the demetallisation is carried out by etching.</p> |
