In a display device of the reset type, drive asymmetries in mutually offset picture electrodes (6) occur due to capacitive crosstalk differences between these picture electrodes (6) and column electrodes, and consequently lead to artefacts. These crosstalk differences are eliminated by choosing a layout for a picture electrode (6) and the surrounding electrodes (8, 18) and switching elements (9, 19), which layout, viewed in consecutive rows, is mirror-symmetrical.
|
