Exploitation of glauberite deposits

摘要

The glauberite is extracted by lixiviation with a soln. passed down a borehole, the brine being pumped up through another borehole. The hydro-dynamic state of each may be controlled by piezometers provided with sensors to achieve a uniform advance across the whole transverse section. The enriched brine is sent to a treatment plant.
