PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of the operator, by forming the vacant area with the processing program, in inserting the data. CONSTITUTION:The floppy disc stores the data in the unit of record, and one data to one record is a base. In this case, if the data is short, a vacant area (a) is produced in the record. If new data are inserted between the record 2 and the record 3, the processing program is started with the editing key, and if the vacant area (a) of the record 1 is longer than the data (b) of the record 2, the data (b) is transferred in the vacant area (a) and after the record 2 is all into vacant area, the insertion data is written in the record 2. If the vacant area (a) is small, the impossibility of data insertion is told to the operator. |
