PURPOSE:To effectively generate power during the breeze or no-wind period by operating an air-driven turbine with the compressed air stored during the operation by wind, and driving a power generator via a power shaft. CONSTITUTION:Wind prime movers l are provided in series, and front and rear propeller shafts 2 are connected to a main power shaft 6 installed under the ground via a transmission system including bevel gear trains 3, 5. The first through third flywheels 8-10 are fitted to the main power shaft 6, and clutches 11, 12 are provided on power shafts between the flywheels 8-10. An air compressor 13 is installed between the flywheels 8, 9 and an air-driven turbine 14 is installed between the flywheels 9, 10 respectively so that power can be transmitted, and a power generator 7 is installed at the end of the main power shaft 6. When the air compressor 13 is driven by wind, the compressed air is stored in a high-pressure tank, and the air-driven turbine 14 is driven by the compressed air extracted from the high-pressure tank to drive the power generator 7 during the no-wind period. |
