PURPOSE:To provide a hydraulic control device for a direct power shift transmission capable of removing restrictions on layout of an inching valve and an inching pedal, and at the same time expanding an oil pressure control range in relation to stepping distance of an inching pedal more easily than the case of a conventional one. CONSTITUTION:A direct power shift transmission having an inching valve 617 which lowers temporarily supply oil pressure to friction engaging elements 20 and 26 during engagement in response to stepping distance of an inching pedal operated by a driver comprises an electromagnetic valve 639 for controlling operation of the inching valve 617 by pressure oil supply and discharge, an inching opening sensor for detecting stepping distance of an inching pedal and an electronic control unit for controlling current-carrying quantity for the electromagnetic valve 639 based on a signal from the inching opening sensor. |
