The invention relates to a process for the stable seating of railway rails 2, 3, 4 which extend, spaced apart from one another by a short distance, with the installation of sleepers (crosspieces) in pairs 9, 10 under the outer rails 2, 4 and under the respective contiguous rails 3.1 or 3.2 of the middle rail 3, within the space between the rails 3.1, 3.2, and they are in this position supported (fitted) and joined in such a manner that the joining joints 11 of the sequential pairs 9.K, 10.K and 9.K+1 are positioned alternately on the two sides of an axis (shaft) 12 which extends perpendicularly to the axes of the sleepers between the rails 3.1 and 3.2 and in which the upper faces 14 are connected securely under the axis 12 at least of three longer sleepers [lacuna] sequences 9.K, 10.K+1, 9.K+2 by means of connection elements 13.
