<p>PURPOSE:To automate unpacking work of bagged raw cotton by a method wherein an unpacking device, which unpacks raw cotton compressed into a block and contained in a bag, works in such a way that the bag is longitudinally cut in the middle on the upper face, the front face of the bag is stretched tight, and the bag under tension is longitudinally cut open. CONSTITUTION:When bagged raw cotton A arrives by a means of conveyer 1, a cloth bag (c) is longitudinally cut by a first cutter 6 in the middle of the upper face. The raw cotton A is transferred to a second conveyer 2, and when it stops at a specified position X, both front upper corners of the bag (c) are clamped by left and right first chucks 9 and tine front face of the bag (c) is pulled slightly outward as the chucks 9 are retracted, so that the front face of the bag (c) becomes tense. In this state, a second cutter 13 is lowered to cut the front face of the bag (c) downward. When the first chucks 9 release the bag (c) and retreats, left and right second chucks 17 hold line upper parts on the rear sides of the left and right sides of the bag (c) and are lowered to entirely pull off the bag (c) downward.</p> |
