发明名称 PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC-BASED COMPOSITE MATERIAL OF TITANIUM DIBORIDE AND TITANIUM NITRIDE BY REACTION SYNTHESIS
摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a ceramic-based composite material consisting of TiB2 and TiN by a simple process with a simple producing equipment by sintering BN and Ti under a solid phase reaction. CONSTITUTION:Powders of BN and Ti are put in an org. solvent such as ethanol and mixed by applying ultrasonic vibration and they are mixed again for >=24hr in a mixer such as a V-blender. The resulting powdery mixture is dried and caked into a cold compact in a mold. This compact is sintered at 1,100-1,650 deg.C in vacuum or sintered under pressure. During this sintering, the BN and Ti react with each other and diffuse to synthesize TiB2 and TiN.
