PURPOSE:To automatically select a paper feeding means on the side where a paper sheet is set by setting the paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:When execution is made on a duplicator having a paper feeding part to which a cassette for containing paper sheet, having different sizes, in upper and lower stages can be attached, in the case when a cassette for, for example, an A4 paper sheet is attached to the paper feeding part on the upper stage, a detecting switch 11-1 is turned ON and a differential signal is outputted from a differential circuit 53 through an inverter 51. Outputting of the differential signal causes setting of an FF55 and a lamp 37a is lighted ON through a switching circuit 62 by means of a set output Q. A solenoid 67 for selectively driving a paper feed roller in an upper stage can be operated through an AND gate 63 by means of the output Q. When a print switch is turned ON under this state the solenoid 67 is driven by means of an output from a copying control circuit 65, and the feed of paper sheets is started. |
