PURPOSE:To enable picture processing in a short time in which image data with a large size, high resolution, and high image quality is rapidly produced using a small number of semiconductor storage devices. CONSTITUTION:Picture data 1 is discriminated into graphic picture data 3 and image picture data 4 by a picture data discrimination means 2. A graphic development means 5 develops the graphic picture data 3 to the first line segment information data 7a. An image development means 6 develops the image picture data 4 to the second line segment information data 7b and image information data 8. An image conversion means 9 makes raster image data 10 which is image-converted from the image information data 8. A raster data making means produces raster data 12 on the basis of the first and second line segment information data 7a, 7b and the raster image data 10. |
