PURPOSE: To manufacture an apparatus for threading webs in a rotary printing machine at a lower cost and to enable threading a ribbon through a turning bar also with lower expenses. CONSTITUTION: A threading belt 13 in the form of a hook belt is guided on the threading path, the leading edge of a web 1 supports a loop belt 35, or the threading belt 13 supports the loop belt 35 and the leading edge of the web 1 is formed as a hook belt.
