VENTILATING METHOD IN COMPOSTING DEVICE OF DOMESTIC GARBAGE

PURPOSE:To provide a simply and surely ventilating method capable of always maintaining stable aerobic fermenting decomposition in the composting device of domestic garbage. CONSTITUTION:The introduction port 31 of garbage is opened in the upside of a vertical cylindrical fermenter 3. A chamber 35 for a combined exhaust and drainage is comparted under a floorboard 34 made of a perforated board having permeability in the bottom part via the floorboard 34. An opening/closing cover 2 for airtightly blocking the introduction port of garbage is equipped in the upside of the fermenter. An air pump 8 for ventilation is equipped on the opening/closing cover 2 in order to blow air into the fermenter 3 toward the bottom part from the upside. Garbage is aerobically fermented and decomposed by passing the air blown by the air pump 8 through the built-up layer of garbage from the upside of the fermenter 3 and forcedly ventilating the air toward the inside of the chamber 35 of the bottom part of the floorboard. The ventilation amount of the air blown into the fermenter 3 by the air pump 8 is increased, decreased and regulated in accordance with the feed rate of garbage introduced into the fermenter 3. Further, the ventilation amount is squeezed in a small amount regardless of the feed rate of garbage in the rising period of firstly introduced garbage. A variable resistor for changing the driving voltage is provided in the air pump 8 and the ventilation amount is regulated.
