PURPOSE:To provide a device of an NOx removing catalyst which is capable of easily holding a honeycomb catalyst without decreasing the surface area of the catalyst touching exhaust gas for the honeycomb catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pieces of flow paths are constituted by comparting the inside of the external frame 4 of a rectangular parallelo-piped having opened both sides by a plurality of pieces of partitions 1 which are orthogonal each other and parallel to the axial direction of the external frame. Sping members 3 are provided in both the external frame facing the respective flow paths and the partitions. Honeycomb catalytic bodies 2 are housed in the respective flow paths along the axial direction thereof. Resistors 6 are provided in the flow paths of the interval formed by the outer peripheral face of the honeycomb catalytic body, the external frame and the partitions so that the fluidizing resistance of gas flow thereof is made equal to the fluidizing resistance of the aperture part of the inside of the honeycomb catalytic body. Therefore the outer peripheral wall is activated as the active face of the catalyst and also detaching work of the honeycomb catalyst is made easy by the spring member 3. |
