This reinforcement comprises a rim (1) formed by a plurality of curved tubes (2, 4) bent inwards and downwards at their ends to form the spokes of the wheel. The ends of two adjacent spokes (6, 8 - 7, 9) belonging to two different tubes are moulded into one lateral boss (14) on a hub (16).
