PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer sheet in which an image is clarified, adhesive sheet can be exfoliated with no trouble, and appearance is improved at the time of application by providing an ink non-fixing transfer layer composed of silicon modified alkyd resin onto the sheet. CONSTITUTION:An ink non-fixing transfer layer composed of silicon modified alkyd resin is provided on a transfer sheet made of coated paper. The silicon modified alkyd resin is prepared through cocondensation of silicon resin, fatty acid or polybasic acid, and polyhydric alcohol such as glycerol with the silicon resin being set at 5-50wt.%. Coating quantity is set at 1-20g/m<2> in dry weight. An adhesive sheet composed of cellophane, for example, is then applied onto an image formed on the transfer layer of transfer sheet. |
