<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to subdivide the conditions such as density, magnitude, position and the like of every image element by a method wherein the emission pattern of light emitting elements consisting of a line head is increased. CONSTITUTION:When image data, in which the voltage level of every image element varies on the basis of the conditions such as the density, magnitude, position and the like, are generated, the image data is obtained by voltage detecting circuit 51 in order to detect the voltage level of every image element. Next, the emission pattern of light emitting element is produced on the basis of the detected voltage levels by emission pattern forming circuit 53. In response to the formed emission pattern, the emission of the light emitting elements consisting of the line head 53 is controlled by EEH driving circuit 54.</p> |
